Legal information about Claimio
Company information
Claimio is a trade name of Claimio, a private limited company established in Rijswijk, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 93665938. General questions can be sent to [email protected].
Role of Claimio
Claimio provides a technology and operations platform for claim programs, scans, registrations, dossier creation, controlled data transfers and status communications. Claimio does not become your lawyer, representative organisation, litigation representative, court or financial adviser merely by providing this platform.
Scans and preliminary assessments
A scan, match, indicative amount or platform status is not legal advice and does not establish that you have an enforceable claim. The outcome may depend on additional facts, evidence, limitation periods, applicable law, assessment by a partner or representative organisation, and decisions of a court or regulator.
Collective actions and representation
For a collective action, we state which representative organisation acts, which procedural route is followed and which status has been confirmed by a primary source. A registration, scan result or mandate does not automatically make you a member of a court-defined group and does not automatically make Claimio your exclusive representative.
Partners and data transfers
A claim partner is a separate organisation with its own role and responsibilities. Before a personal dossier is transferred, we show the intended recipient, purpose, data categories and required instruction or authorisation. A partner account does not by itself provide access to dossiers or claim programs.
Terms and privacy
The general terms govern the use of the Services. The privacy statement explains how personal data is processed and which rights you may exercise. Additional terms, privacy information, fee arrangements and mandates may apply to a specific claim program.
Questions and complaints
Questions or complaints about the platform can be sent to [email protected]. A complaint about substantive handling by a partner should generally be submitted to that partner. Privacy complaints may also be submitted to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. A dispute is handled by the authority or court having jurisdiction under applicable law.
